Sparrows arranged among maple leaves, composed around a thin diamond-shaped line.
Sparrows arranged among maple leaves, composed around a thin diamond-shaped line.
Although sparrows are small and familiar birds,
they often carry a sense of everyday life and seasonal atmosphere in traditional paintings.
Some elements stay within the line,
while others continue beyond it,
so the composition feels open rather than enclosed.
Rather than defining every form too clearly,
I focused on the direction of the sparrows,
the placement of the maple leaves,
and the softness of the ink-like shading.
