A classical hawk painting reworked with an eagle’s head, translated onto the body.
Based on the composition and atmosphere of a classical hawk painting, this piece was reworked with the head changed into that of an eagle.
I kept the original downward movement and direction of the wings, while adding the stronger gaze and weight of an eagle’s face.
The pine was kept quiet in the background, as a subtle scene behind the movement of the bird.
Rather than creating a completely new image, I focused on translating the structure and mood of an old painting onto the body.
